VicRoads Safe Driving Program

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE TO BOOK NOW

The VicRoads Safe Driving Program is a court mandated program for offenders who have been found guilty of certain high risk driving offences.

This group program, provides factual information on high risk driving and its consequences and encourages participants to think about their beliefs, motivations and behaviour, and identify how to change their behaviour and plan to avoid future unsafe driving.

The program is only available to court mandated individuals. (i.e. have been ordered by the court to complete the Safe Driving Program)

Accessing Services Remotely

VicRoads Safe Driving  Program will be offered through a combination of videolink as well as some face to face groups. This will allow us to cater for those living in areas where attendance is difficult e.g. rural and regional areas, and also for those who may not meet the criteria for attending in person. It is expected that all other participants will attend face to face groups.

For the online groups we will provide an online link to our tool Zoom.  We can deliver programs and individual counselling virtually via this platform.  Our group programs will have a maximum of 6 participants.  We will provide instructions on how to access our services online prior to the sessions.  You can use your mobile phone, laptop or a desktop computer.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us on 1300 543 396 or contact@relationshipmatters.com.au

VicRoads Safe Driving Program Completion Certificate

Participants who successfully complete the program will be issued with a Safe Driving Program Completion Certificate (SDPCC). This certificate will then need to be submitted to VicRoads as evidence of successful completion of the Safe Driving Program.

The Safe Driving Program is a program approved by VicRoads under the Road Safety Act 1986. Relationship Matters is one of a number of providers approved by VicRoads to deliver Safe Driving Programs to offenders. More details can be found on the VicRoads website at www.vicroads.vic.gov.au
