Marney Bowden is a Nationally Accredited Mediator and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. Marney commenced her career as a Conciliator at the Ombudsman’s Office before moving into family law, and has been working in the mediation space for over 13 years. Working in both the private and public sector, Marney enjoys applying her dispute resolution skills in different settings, with the aim of improving communication, restoring relationships, and coaching parties with the skills to effectively manage and resolve their own conflict. Marney is the Dispute Resolution Coordinator at Relationship Matters, overseeing a team of practitioners, ensuring efficient case management and adherence to regulatory standards. In her role Marney regularly liaises with external agencies and contributes to policy development. Her focus is high-quality, client-centred dispute resolutions services. Marney has degrees in law and arts, and Graduate Diplomas in Professional Legal Training and Family Dispute Resolution Practice. Marney is also a NMAS Accredited mediator.
