As an experienced psychologist, Peter has over 30 years’ experience in organizational, rehabilitation and applied clinical psychology. He has worked closely with both individuals, management and employees to deliver effective EAP services, workplace education, emergency response and critical incident debriefing ranging from mining events through to natural disasters.
He has extensive experience in delivering personal or small group psychological interventions that improve the lives of injured workers, individuals with reactive mental health issues, and those with a longer-term history or experience of trauma and mental health and wellbeing challenges. He has developed a range of psychological support services that assist people living in rural and remote locations from a diverse range of ethnic, economic and social backgrounds
Peter has successfully lead teams of Psychologists and allied health professionals to improve the mental health and wellbeing of young people, socially disadvantaged, and a wide range of employees. He has developed a range of psychosocial education programs for clients with Chronic Pain, anxiety, depression and other mental health issues. His approach utilizes evidence-based practice that improves an individual’s capacity and confidence to better manage the range of issues we all face in our personal and work lives.
