Mental health is a critical part of a healthy and productive workplace. This blended online course is designed to provide your staff with the skills to recognise, understand, and respond to mental health issues and crises. It offers a flexible alternative to traditional two-day, in-person courses, making it ideal for busy workplaces. The program teaches you how to confidently support a colleague who may be struggling with a mental health problem or crisis.

Who is this for?

This course is for all adult staff, 18 years and over, in the workplace. It’s for anyone who wants to become a Mental Health First Aider and be a positive force in their workplace by understanding how to provide initial support to colleagues in need.

What can I expect?

This course is delivered in two convenient parts. The first is a self-paced eLearning component (5-7 hours) that you can complete at your own convenience. This is followed by two instructor-led Zoom sessions (2.5 hours each) where you can connect with your instructor and other participants.

How is the course delivered?
