Strong supervision is essential for building capable, confident and high performing teams. This practical online training program supports supervisors to develop the skills, structure and confidence needed to effectively support their staff.

This course offering is ideal for new supervisors wanting to establish a supervision framework with their direct reports, and for experienced leaders seeking to refine their practice, deepen their reflective capacity, and strengthen the foundations of effective supervision.

Training Format

4 x 1.5-hour online training sessions
Total training time: 6 hours

Cost

$660 + GST per participant
($165 + GST per session)

Audience

New supervisors and leaders who have not completed any formal supervision training.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the four sessions, participants will be able to:

• Establish a practical and realistic supervision framework and agreement
• Understand the three-cornered psychological contract and how this influences supervision in practice
• Engage your supervisee or supervisees in honest and open communication, resulting in higher commitment and performance
• Maintain positive regard within the supervision dynamic to enable honest and transparent working relationships

Trainer

Carol Wlodarczyk
Business Support Specialist, Workplace Matters

Carol is an experienced psychologist with a strong background providing supervision to operational staff across the not for profit, public, and health sectors.

She has developed and delivered bespoke supervision training programs for organisations, and training participants refer to her as “the guru of supervision.”

Holding a Master’s degree in Organisational and Industrial Psychology, Carol is known for her ability to quickly build positive, transparent and respectful relationships with supervisees.
