Compassion in Action: Leading Workplace Responses to Family Violence or Mental Health Concerns

Key personnel hold a critical role in creating environments where employees feel safe, supported, and able to seek help when facing difficult circumstances.
In addition, there are responsibilities under new Occupational Health and Safety (Psychological Health) Regulations 2025 as well as obligations under the National Employment Standards, which provide all employees with 10 days of paid family and domestic violence leave each year.
The session explores workplace responsibilities, early warning signs, confidentiality considerations, and how to respond without overstepping professional boundaries.
