About the Training

This essential in person session helps leaders, managers, HR teams, and Health & Safety Representatives (HSRs) build the knowledge and confidence to manage psychosocial risks effectively and comply with the new regulations.

  • Mental Illness – risk factors, prevalence and impact
  • Developing a Mental Health First Aid Action Plan
  • Signs, symptoms and support for those displaying depression, anxiety or panic attacks
  • First aid for psychosis, substance abuse issues and those at risk of suicide

About the Trainer

Carol is a registered psychologist with a Master’s degree in Organisational and Industrial Psychology. She is a certified HSR with qualifications in Critical Incident Debriefing and mediation, and has over 30 years of experience in the not for profit, health, and public sectors.

Carol combines deep expertise in workplace psychological safety and wellbeing with an engaging, interactive training style. Her sessions are tailored to each audience, ensuring practical understanding and meaningful application. She is also a licensed MHFA Instructor.
