Evan is an experienced Psychologist having been registered for more than 25 years in both NSW and Victoria. He has worked in a wide array of services, including Corrections, EAP, Trauma and crisis work, Disability and Aged services, as well as relationship and mental health services.
Evan has been managing, supervising and mentoring staff in organisations for more than 15 years, providing a supportive environment for staff to provide the most appropriate services to the clients they are working with, regardless of the type of service. This includes counsellors providing relationship support, family therapists, mental health clinicians, case managers and group facilitators, including Men’s Behaviour Change Program facilitators.
Evan has a strong interest in trauma response, at both an individual and group level, and has worked extensively in Kinglake and Marysville following the Black Saturday Bushfires in 2009. He has also worked with perpetrators of family violence, as well as with those impacted by this.
Evan’s approach is to work collaboratively with both staff and clients, to empower them to make the changes in their lives and work they want.
