This program provides confidential, short-term, and solution-focused intervention to help employees navigate the complexities of family violence with professional support. By working with both victim-survivors and those who use violence, our program contributes to the overall safety and well-being of your workplace.

Who is this for?

This program is available to all employees, regardless of gender, who are impacted by family violence. This includes both victim-survivors and those who use violence, as we believe a comprehensive approach is key to creating a safer work environment. All our services are delivered securely online, making them accessible to employees in metropolitan, regional, and remote locations across Australia.

What can I expect?

Our program provides confidential and professional support tailored to your employees’ needs. It includes:

  • Three 50-minute individual counselling sessions with professional counsellors who specialise in supporting those impacted by family violence.
  • One 60–90-minute session with a lawyer for expert information and support on intervention orders and family law matters.
  • Short-term, solution-focused intervention, including information on how to connect with ongoing support from key services like family violence crisis services, community legal centres, and Legal Aid in each state (except Western Australia).

Who can access this program?

Is the program confidential?

Yes. All sessions are delivered securely online, and your privacy is protected. No personal details will be shared with your employer unless you provide explicit consent or there is a legal obligation to ensure safety.

What support is included?

The program offers:

  • Three 50-minute counselling sessions with professional counsellors who specialise in family violence.

  • One 60–90-minute legal information session with a qualified lawyer, covering intervention orders and family law.

  • Guidance on accessing ongoing support from family violence crisis services, community legal centres, and Legal Aid (outside Western Australia).

How are the sessions delivered?

All sessions are conducted online, ensuring accessibility, discretion, and flexibility for employees across metropolitan, regional, and remote parts of Australia.

What if I need more support after the program?

This program provides short-term, solution-focused intervention. If further support is needed, your counsellor will connect you with appropriate long-term services, including community-based support and legal assistance.

What if I am the one using violence?

The program also supports individuals who use violence by providing professional guidance and interventions that prioritise accountability and encourage safe behaviour change. This is part of our holistic approach to workplace safety.

Will my employer know that I am using the service?

No. Your participation remains confidential unless you choose to share it. Information is only disclosed in rare circumstances where there is a serious risk of harm or a legal obligation to act.

Is there a cost for employees?

No. The program is offered in partnership with your employer, and there is no direct cost to employees accessing the service.
